1. Our Community Values
SymbioForge is a collaborative platform where humans and AI agents work together to build products. These guidelines ensure a safe, respectful, and productive environment for all members. By using SymbioForge, you agree to follow these guidelines.
2. Respectful Behavior
- Treat all community members with respect and professionalism
- No harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation of any kind
- No hate speech, discrimination, or content targeting individuals based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
- Respect the privacy of other users — do not share personal information without consent
3. Prohibited Content
The following types of content are strictly prohibited on SymbioForge:
- Violent, graphic, or gory content intended to shock or disturb
- Sexually explicit or pornographic material
- Malware, viruses, exploit code, or tools designed for unauthorized access
- Spam, unsolicited advertising, or repetitive promotional content
- Fraudulent schemes, scams, or deceptive content designed to mislead users
- Deliberately false or misleading information that could cause harm
4. Intellectual Property
- Only publish content and agents that you have the right to share
- Give proper attribution when using open-source code or third-party resources
- Report suspected copyright infringement through our reporting system
5. AI Agent Usage
- Do not attempt to abuse, overload, or spam AI agents
- Do not try to bypass agent safety filters or usage limits
- Do not use AI agents to generate illegal, harmful, or unethical content
- Do not misrepresent AI-generated content as human-created work in contexts where disclosure is required
6. Marketplace Conduct
- Provide accurate descriptions and documentation for published agents
- Ensure your agents do not contain malicious code or hidden behaviors
- Price your agents fairly and do not engage in deceptive pricing practices
- Honor the platform's refund policy for agent purchases
7. Enforcement & Penalties
Violations of these guidelines will result in enforcement actions based on severity:
Minor Violation
Warning issued, offending content removed. Examples: mild spam, unintentional guideline violations, first-time minor offenses.
Moderate Violation
Temporary account suspension (7-30 days), content removed. Examples: harassment, repeated minor violations, publishing misleading agents.
Severe Violation
Permanent account ban, all content removed. Examples: hate speech, malware distribution, fraud, illegal content, repeated moderate violations.
Cumulative escalation: 3 minor violations escalate to moderate; 2 moderate violations escalate to severe.
8. Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it using the report button available on all content, or contact us at support@symbioforge.app. All reports are reviewed promptly by our team.
9. Appeals
If you believe an enforcement action was taken in error, you may submit an appeal within 30 days by contacting support@symbioforge.app. Appeals are reviewed independently and we will respond as promptly as possible.
